NATHAN CORY. Was born in Warren County, Ohio, November 13, 1802; married
to
Mary Smith March 10, 1825; born in New Jersey. They were married in Clark
County,
Ohio; came to Jefferson Township, Boone County, 1851. Mrs. Gory died March
23,
1879; is buried at the Cox Cemetery. The following are the childrens
names: Noah S.;
William G., who resides in Jefferson Township, and is one of its best citizens.
He
married Margaret E. Stephenson January 9, 1855. Noah lives in Kansas.
The following
are the names of William G. Cory's children: James S., resides in Nebraska:
Mary L., Iva
R., Walter M., all living. Mr. Cory belongs to the Presbyterian Church,
as well as his
father, Nathan Cory. William G. Cory was in the late war -- Co. B, 154th
Indiana
Regiment. Thanks to this family for favors. Mr. C. lives about ten miles
west of
Lebanon, a short distance north of the pike leading from Dover west.
