Delaphine married Oren (b. May 25, 1844 - d. November 8, 1924), on July 30, 1867 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Children from their marriage:

Delaphine's father James Ralph was born in England. He immigrated to the United States in 1864. She was the breadwinner of the family sewing clothes and making hats, as Oren had a bad right arm, injured by a wound to the right arm during the Civil War.
