(5) Margaret5 Hollingsworth, named in the will of her father, Samuel Hollingsworth, 1810, as above, of Haywood Co., N.C. No other data. (6) Ruth5 Hollingsworth; named in father's will as above. She was born c1786/7, in North Carolina; was living in 1860 at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri (1860 U.S. Census, p. 134) aged 73. She married John William Fullbright, of German ancestry. (7) Enoch5 Hollingsworth; named in father's will as above. Under age in 1810; hence, born in 1790s. Married, in 1812, Haywood County, N.C. Margaret Cunningham, who survived him. Died in 1814. Soldier of War of 1812. This sketch may prove defective! But it is useful to see it in print. The last three children are known and proved to be children of Samuel of Haywood Co., N.C. But we cannot say Sam of Haywood is the son of Sam and Barbara (Shewin) Hollingsworth, nor can we absolutely equate him with the Sam "Senior" (Mystery Sam) of Franklin County, in Georgia. We don't have room to go on this time. Further data will be most welcome! As Mr. William Graham, our subscriber states: Samuel had a wanderlust. Verily, verily, if all these references deal with but one Samuel Hollingsworth, that is a proverb. If true, his greatest rovings came in his sixties - off to the Mississippi wilderness through Cherokee lands, back to Georgia, getting a chance at a land lottery, obtaining a land lot through headrights, back to North Carolina to be constable two terms ... And constable, mind you, at seventy! A resident of Lorain County (Ohio) from the time of his birth to the present, Mr. Hollingsworth is one of the successful farmers and stock growers of the county and is a steadfast, sincere and loyal citizen who commands the respect and good will of the community, his well equipped farm being situated in Pittsfield Township and one of his important departments of enterprise being that of conducting a successful dairy business, his products from the dairy farm being shipped principally to the city of Cleveland. He raises thoroughbred cattle and his fine little farm of forty acres also yields excellent returns in the field of diversified agriculture. Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Lorain County on the 12th of November, 1861, and is a son of George and Sarah (Oxby) Hollingsworth, both natives of England, the former born in the year 1832, and the latter in 1833. Their marriage was solemnized in Lorain County, Ohio, where their acquaintanceship was formed.
