"Lincolnesque  Hollingsworth!"

Have you noted the features of Lawson Duncan Hollingsworth as displayed in our plate opposite page 2 of Hollingsworth Register for March, 1978? Two friends said the likeness to Honest Abe is startling. What say you subscribers? Lawson was not a native of Kentucky, but he was a resident for a time in Illinois. He was of Quaker parentage, like Lincoln. There may be a connection. Your editor has not pursued the job of work necessary to trace the lineage of both Lincoln and L.D. Hollingsworth, the latter through his mother's and maternal grandmother's lines, to see if they have a common ancestry. Want to try?
