Engagements and Marriage Announcements:

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Richards announced the engagement of their
daughter, Sandra Gaye Richards, to George Michael Hollingsworth, son
of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Hollingsworth, Jr., at a reception given
Friday (Feb 4, 1983) by Mrs. Jay Richards at Boudreaux's., The couple
will marry in a 7 p.m. ceremony June 4 at Broadmoor United Methodist
Church (The marriage took place and reception probably just concluding
while your editor was typing this portion of HR on Sat. 4 June 1983!)
The bride-elect is a graduate of Episcopal High School and LSU, where
she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and a little sister of
Sigma Chi fraternity. Her fiance is a graduate of Episcopal High School
and attends LSU, where he is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. A brass
container of spring flowers centered the serving table. (The Sunday

Wendy Irene Hudson of Culver City, daughter of Frank and Patricia
(Hollingsworth - Ed.) Hudson of Culver City, was married to Neal Lionel
Shapiro of Culver City, son of Sheila Ernest of Culver City. The Bishop
H. Lynn Brown conducted the ceremony at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints in Mar Vista. A reception followed in the garden room
of Veterans Memorial Bldg. The maid of honor was Sandra Frey, the
bridesmade Valerie Paryse. The flower girl was Christina Marchillo,
niece of the bride. The best man was Richard McCauley; ushers were
Brian and Joel Hudson, brothers of the bride. The bride graduated from
Culver City High School and the United College of Business in Santa
Monica. The bridegroom graduated from Culver City High School. Following
an ocean cruise honeymoon, the couple will reside in Marina del Rey.
