Some Thoughts About Henry
-Continued-

1665, raises his family and is "convinced" by the Friends sometime af-
terward, as shown by the naming pattern of his many children. His first
spouse, Ann Wray (alias Ree), may not have become a Quaker, but after her
death in 1671 he marries Anne Calvert, of a Quaker upbringing. Henry,
his father, remains at Donore in County Dublin, and keeps his religion,
as do his other (?) children, among whom possibly is young Henry Hollins-
worth who marries Elizabeth Newell, daughter of John Newell, one of H.M.
Six-Clerks in the High Court of Chancery, Dublin (John died 1693), and
moves to the Newell property at King Hill (or Kinkell) Townland, Clonduff
Parish, County Down, not too far from Ballymacrandal. Young Henry's chil-
dren later espouse the Presbyterian religion. His recent descendants are
of the opinion that Henry's family came to Ireland in a "Troop of Horse"
(cavalry) headed by Capt. William Hawkins, later the founder of the town
of Rathfriland, Co Down.
End of scenario. Remember: this is pure speculation, or should we
say, partly speculation and partly educated guesswork?
