Book G-4, at page 432 of Craven County, South Carolina (a county which was
done away with after the Revolution), dated 1 July 1772: George Hollings-
worth, miller, and Jean his wife, of Craven County, of one part, and John
Williams of same place, merchant. £175. 155 acres, part of larger tract of
350 acres granted to said Hollingsworth by Hon. Wm. Bull, Esqr., Governor
of South Carolina, on 14 Sept 1771 in the eleventh year of George III, in
Craven County on Mudlick, waters of Little River bounded John Caldwell on
the southwest: other sides vacant. Signed by George and Jean Hollingsworth,
with Joseph, George and James Hollingsworth 'affirmants' (meaning they
