He was born abt 1834 in Estill County.  He died in 1873 in Estill County.  To my knowledge, no one knows where Hudson's buried.

Hudson married Sarah "Sallie" Lunsford on 25 Mar 1862 in Estill County.  Sallie was the daughter of Hiram and Lydia Hollingsworth Lunsford.

Hudson and Sallie had five children:  Israel, Louisa, Mary E., John P., and Susan E.

Hudson was a private in Co. B and then F in the 14th KY Cav.   He enrolled on 29 Oct 1862.  He was mustered in at the age of 25 on 13 Feb 1863 in Irvine, Estill, KY.    He was shown as present at all times except May and June 1863 as those muster rolls were not included.  He was mustered out at Camp Nelson on 24 Mar 1864..
