James Archie was born 07 Jun 1897 in Jackson Co., KY.  He died 16 Aug 1970 in Madison Co., KY.   He was the son of Coleman Douglas and Cynthia Sparks Cox. 

Mary Chesney was born 02 Dec 1897 in Estill Co., KY.  She died 27 Feb 1962 in Fayette Co., KY.  She was the daughter of Andrew "Andy" and Frances "Fanny" Plowman Hoover.

They were married 11 Aug 1917.  They had 8 children.
