John Andrew Jackson was born 23 Dec 1839
in Brown County, IN. He died 22 Aug 1919 in Estill County. He was the son
Daniel and Dianah McQueen Hoover. He is buried near his parents in the Hoover
Cemetery on Barnes Mountain. He was married three times: 1) Sarah "Sallie" Richardson (ended in divorce), 2) Lucinda Stamper (ended with Lucinda's death in 1908), and 3) Elizabeth Hubbard Johnson Gray. Elizabeth was the sister of Armilda Hubbard Blevins Brewer, the second wife of John's father. |
