Isaac BROWN is said to have been b in NC and resided in SC for a time. He married Mary ???. She may be a second wife. The family was in Washington Co., GA by 1790.

James,

Susan,

Levin,

Temperance,

Isaac, Jr. and maybe

William.

Isaac was murdered by Indians in Washington Co. in 1797. Mary and some children later moved to Twiggs Co., GA. Isaac, Jr. was recruited by Thomas Woodward to serve under Gen. Jackson in the 1st FL in 1818. James, Levin, Isaac and William all made declarations for land in Jackson Co., FL in 1821-2 and all settled there.
