Margaret Summers, dau. of John and Elizabeth (Reidennaur) Summers was  b. May 23, 1789 in Augusta Co., Va. d. June 24, 1871; married April 16, 1809 to Joseph Fauber (Faber), son of John and Elizabeth Wietzel Fauber, 16 April 1809, Augusta Co., Va. According to records, Joseph Fauber was born 8 October 1787, Shenandoah Co., Va., died 1853, but place not listed. From wording of the letter can be assumed it was in the West (According to the writer of the letter, Mrs. W.A. Johnston, a son of Joseph Fauber married a Marie Louisa DeLanay. They had one daughter, Virginia, born ca. 1841, place not stated, who married S.H. Johnston in California ca. 1856-57. In 1831, their son W.A. Johnston was living in San Jose, California at 1141 Hanchett Ave.)

John Faber, born 1756 in Little Bavaria, Germany died September 24, 1832 in Augusta Co., Va. He was the son of Valentine Faber and Elizabeth Witsel, who were married January 15, 1786 in Woodstock, Shenandoah Co., Va.  Elizabeth Witsel was born abt. 1761 in Pa. or Va.; died in Augusta Co., Va. She was the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Witsel.
