Judge Charles W. Lusk, of the Sixth judicial district court of Hamilton county, Tenn., traced his lineage to Joseph Lusk, a Revolutionary soldier who was born in Augusta County and emigrated to Carolina. In will book 4, p. 423, Augusta Co., the records, of the will of William Lusk mentions "sons John and William in Carolina" and son Joseph, wife Elizabeth, Sarah and Margaret evidently at home. Joseph apparently followed his brothers to the Carolinas.
