Balam Bolin
Balam Bolin, living in the Morgan edge of Monroe County, died yesterday, aged 66 years. He came to this county when very young, having been born in Clay county, Ky. He was a member of the 67th Indiana regiment during the Civil War and his funeral at 3 o'clock this afternoon was attended by the members of the G. A. R. post of this city. The burial was at the Union cemetery in Baker township. His wife died last September.
The chidren living are: John Bolin, Mowequa, Ill., who came here last Saturday to attend his father; William, Lawson, Stephen, Douglass, Misses Sarah and Nora Bolin, who live at home; Mrs. Joseph Edwards, of this city, and Mrs. Holda Fulford, who has been living with her father.
Deceased was well known to a large number of older citizens in this and Monroe counties, and was highly respected by all who knew him.
