Be it Remembered, That on this 10th day of November, A.D.1854, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit:

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES, GREETING:

You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife, Henry A. Bastin and Elizabeth McDaniel, and of this, together with your Certificate of Marriage, make due return, within three months, according to the Laws of the State of Indiana.

Witness, O. R. Dougherty, Clerk of our said Morgan Circuit Court, and the Seal thereof, affixed at the Clerk's Office in Martinsville, Indiana, this 10th day of November 1854.

Be it further Remembered, That on this 22 day of December, A.D. 1854, the following Certificate was filed in my office, to-wit:

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

I, Lewis Layman, hereby certify that on the 12 day of November A.D. 1854, I duly joined in Marriage, Henry A. Bastin and Elizabeth McDaniel, by authority of Law, and a License from the Clerk of the Morgan Circuit Court.
