Mrs. Lettie Grindle

Mrs. Lettie Beare Grindle, 84, of Harlingen, died Friday at Valley Baptist Hospital.

She had been a Harlingen resident for 43 years, after moving from Indianapolis, Ind.

She is survived by a grandson, Jim Hepner of Brownsville; a great-grandson, John C. Hepner of Austin; two great-grand daughters, Mrs. Penny Hemphill of Houston and Becky Hepner of Brownsville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. L. G. Grindle of Harlingen, a brother-in-law, William H. Grindle of Brownsville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Kreidler Ashcraft Chapel, in Harlingen, with the Rev. Jesse Mothersbaugh of Wesley Methodist Church officiating, with interment at Buena Vista Burial Park of Brownsville.

Pallbearers will be Juan B. Tijerina, Melvin Allen, Dorwin Gerdes, Donald Wood, John Millett and C. M. Fish, all of Brownsville.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Kreidler-Ashcraft Funeral Directors.
