To all whom it may concern;

KNOW YE, That Mathias Hepner a private in Captain Benjamin H. Pierce Company, Third Regiment of Artillery, having Served the United States Honestly and Faithfully, for the term of Eighteen Months the period of his Enlistment, viz: From the second day of December Eighteen Hundred and twelve to the second day of June Eighteen hundred and fourteen

IS HEREBY HONORABLY DISCHARGED.

The said Mathias Hepner was born in the Town of Bridgeton in the County of Cumberland in the State of New Jersey is about twenty one years of age; is five feet seven inches high, light Complexion, blue Eyes, sandy Hair; and is by occupation a Weaver

Given at the Inspector General's Office, Sacketts Harbour Head-Quarters, this eight day of June 1814.
