Be it Remembered, That on this 4th day of June, A.D.1881, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit:

 

State of Indiana, Morgan County, SS.

TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES, GREETING:

You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife, John Vert and Maggie Payton, and of this, together with your Certificate of Marriage, make due return, within three months, according to the Laws of the State of Indiana.

Witness, H. C. Hodges, Clerk of our said Morgan Circuit Court, and the Seal thereof, affixed at the Clerk's Office in Martinsville, Indiana, this 4th day of June 1881.
