BUREAU OF PENSIONS

It is hereby certified That in conformity with the laws of the United States Matthias T. Hepner who was a Corporal Co. D 29" Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry is entitled to a pension at the rate of Eight dollars per month, to commence on the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight. This pension being for "Injury of back and left hip."

Given at the Department of the Interior this Twenty-third day of July one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and fourteenth.
