WALTER E. VIRT

Walter E. Virt, 72, of 109 S Victoria Park Rd., died in North Broward General Hospital early today.

Mr. Virt, born in Paragon, Ind., came to Florida three years ago from Paragon. A retired railroad conductor, he was a member of the Order of Railway Conductors. He worked 50 years on the Pennsylvania line. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge in Indianapolis.

Surviving are his wife, Isabel; two daughters, Mrs. Maragaret Heslet, Pompano Beach, and Mrs. Lillian Davey, Ft. Lauderdale; a son, Ephriam W., of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Lettie Beare, Harlingen, Tex., and Mrs. May Martin, Chicago, and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Fairchild Funeral Home.
