Glen was the son of Osa Karns, sister of my father Elmer Karns. Glen was an avid genealogical researcher, especially in his retirement years.

In 1956 the submarine that Glen Paxton was assigned to put into the Navy Ship yards at
Portsmouth, New Hampshire for several months of repairs. He rented a place in Kittery, Maine and moved
the family there. They were in Kittery for only a couple of months, then returned to Connecticut.
