Benjamin Smittie "Mitt" Cahoon was born September 20, 1879 and died May 8, 1964. He was the son of William Benjamin Cahoon and Mrs. Dorcas Elizabeth Williamson Sawyer. Ann Ethel McGowan was born November 17, 1877 and died December 7, 1961. She was the daughter of James William McGowan and Frances Elizabeth Berry. Both Mitt and Ethel are buried in Soule Cemetery in the Lake Comfort section of Swan Quarter Township.
