Margaret "Maggie" (Porch) McGowen (1857-1946) was the wife of Carroll Gene McGowen (1860-1937), son of Morgan Sylvester (1827-1911) & Martha (Allen) McGowen (1830-1915). Maggie was the daughter of Kizziah Porch (1813-1904). Carroll & Maggie married on Aug. 11, 1878. They lived at Weston, Platte Co., MO and are buried in Jarrett Cemetery in Texas Co., MO. They had eleven children.
