Swan Quarter Landing

Commercial fishing vessels unload crabs, fish, oysters, and shrimp caught in the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean at Swan Quarter Landing in Hyde County, N.C. Swan Quarter, the county seat of Hyde County, was established ca. 1850. The farmers of Hyde County, which has the richest farm land in the state, harvests from both land and water.
