William McGowan, Jr. (c.1755-c.1807) was a son of William McGowan, Sr. (c.1708-c.1782) and Frances (Hendricks) McGowan. William, Jr. is believed to have married Nancy Pierce (Pearce), daughter of Miles Pierce (d.1804) of Tyrrell & Beaufort Cos. They were parents of only one know child, a daughter, Nancy McGowan, who married Joab Daniels in 1810 in Craven Co., NC.
