[1] Mary ?? was b. about 1826 in Ireland. Michael's occupation is listed in various census records as: Mason, Furniture Dealer, owner of a Cabinet Store, and Brick Mason. He went into the New Haven Almshouse by 1880 and was still alive living in the Spring Side Home, New Haven in 1900. He is not found in the 1910 census and is assumed to have passed on.
[2] Cannot find James after the 1870 census, where he lived with the family working as an Undertaker.
[3] Death records place Mary Laden's (Leydon/ Leaden/Leadon) birth abt. November 1846 in New Haven, Connecticut, daughter of Michael (b. abt. 1825 in NY, d. between 1900-1910) and Mary Laden (b. abt. 1826 in Ireland). She was buried 2 April 1897 at 50 yrs, 6 mos. of age in Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby, CT. Also buried in the family plot is Mrs. Ellen E. Gaffney, buried 8/3/1901, 49 yrs old.
