Descendants of Timothy Kelly

Generation One

1. TIMOTHY¹ KELLY probably was born in Kings County (now County Offaly), Ireland. He may have died in 1776 in Kershaw County, South Carolina.
Beers reports that "John Kelly, born in Ireland, ... with one brother Samuel and one sister Abigail, were brought to America by their father about 1750", but George Thomas O'Neall makes no mention of Timothy in describing the emigration of his three children.

Known children of Timothy¹ Kelly all born Kings County (now County Offaly), Ireland include:

i. ABIGAIL² KELLY married (--?--) Millhouse.
She immigrated with her brothers, Samuel Kelly and John Kelly, circa 1750 to the Wateree River, near the present city of Camden, South Carolina.

2. ii. JOHN KELLY, born 1733; married Mary Evans.

3. iii. SAMUEL KELLY, married Hannah Belton.
