Florence McDaniel, 94, of Macomb died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 7,
1992 at McDonough District Hospital. She was born May 17, 1897 in Macomb
to Joseph and Della (Hamilton) Barnes. She married Arthur McDaniel April
27, 1913 in Macomb. He preceded her in death Dec. 10, 1940. She is
survived by the following children, Arthur McDaniel of Macomb, Francis
McDaniel of Macomb, Donald McDaniel of Otwell, Ind. Charles McDaniel of
Tipton, Ind., Agnes McMillan of Macomb, and Lora Mae Vail of Macomb; 25
grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great-grandchildren and
four great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons; two daughters; two grandsons;
seven brothers and six sisters.
Mrs. McDaniel was a lifelong resident of Macomb. She worked at Hemps,
several restaurants, Warren County Nursing Home and baby sat for several
years. She was a member of the Macomb Eagles Club and a former member of
the Moose Lodge. She was also a member of the Nazarene Church.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home
in Macomb with the Rev. Jack Leatherman officiating. Burial will be in
Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday and the family
will meet with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church."

DEBORAH PURDY: I am very proud to announce the marriage of Sean Alan
Blue, elder son of Janet K McDaniel Blue, to Deborah Ann Purdy, daughter
of Lynn Purdy and Donna Purdy.
Sean and Debbie were married Saturday, September 19, 1998 at 3:00p.m. at
the LaHarpe Christian Church, LaHarpe, IL. They will be residing on our
(his dad's and mine) old farm southwest of Blandinsville, IL. Their new
address is: 3096 East County Road 2000, Blandinsville, IL 61420. They
are both 23 years old and have gone together since they were 16. Debbie
has a twin sister, Denise and an adopted older sister and brother. Sean
and Debbie also celebrated my younger son's (Aaron) 21st birthday on
their wedding day. They are currently honeymooning in Colorado Springs.
A great time was had by all.
