Tinsman.--- Eli Bowen, aged 52, died at his home at 2 o'clock Friday. He is survived by wife and six children, Chester Bowen of near Hampton, Vester Bowen, and Brodie Bowen of this place, Mrs. Johnnie Strickland of near Hampton, and Mrs. Tommy Brumley of Blue Springs, and Miss Floy Bowen. Burial was in Ernest cemetary Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Mount Pisgah Cemetary in Woodville under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. A native of Tinsman, Ark., she lived in Hillister most of her life and was a retired window-stripper for Keller Industries. Survivors include sons, Kenneth Porter of Colmesneil and Herschel Porter of Woodville; daughters Kathy Johnson of Silsbee and Peral Force of Livingston; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
