5. Manuel S. RAGLAND was born in 1825 in Bibb Co., Alabama. He died after 1880 in ?, Jefferson, Alabama.

He was married to Nancy LEE on 11 Jul 1844 in Bibb Co., Alabama. Nancy LEE was born in 1825. She died about 1858 in Bibb Co., Alabama. She is not on the 1860 Census. She is supposedly the granddaughter of Hopkins Lee of NC and Bibb Co., AL, but we cannot substantiate that. Manuel S. RAGLAND and Nancy LEE had the following children:

+40 ii. John W. RAGLAND.
+41 iii. Elizabeth Ann "Betsey" RAGLAND.
42 iv. Mary C. RAGLAND was born in 1851 in Bibb Co., Alabama. She died in 1944 in Bryce's Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. ⁽³⁾
+43 v. Calvin Thornton RAGLAND.

He was married to Sarah KITCHEN in 1860 in Bibb Co., Alabama. Sarah KITCHEN was born in 1830. She died after 1880. Manuel S. RAGLAND and Sarah KITCHEN had the following children:

+44 i. Nancy Emmline RAGLAND.
+45 ii. Texan Anne "Polly" RAGLAND.
+46 iii. Harvey Washington RAGLAND.
47 iv. Robert A. RAGLAND was born in 1868 in Bibb Co., Alabama. He resided Home of Manuel Ragland in 1880 in Jefferson Co., Alabama. He was last known of while living with his parents, listed on the 1880 census.
