15. EDWARD MERION LAMBERT was born on 10 Jun 1920 in Hutchinson, Independence County, Arkansas. ⁽²⁵⁾ He died on 20 Mar 1984 in Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.⁽²⁵⁾ Edward M. "Buck" Lambert, 63, of Floral died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver & a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leta Martin Lambert of the home; 6 sons, John David Lambert of Tehachapi, Calif., Larry Edward Lambert of Riverton, N. J., Donald Lambert of Newark, Ron Lambert of Jonesboro, Marion Dale Lambert of Desha, & Thomas Ray Lambert of Little Rock/ 3 daughters, Bobbie Joy Swafford of Ben, Ark., Brenda Kay Gay & Karen Gwyen Thomas, both of Floral; a sister, Mrs. Cleo "Tiny" Rogers of Bakersfield, Calif..; and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Dillard officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Davies Batesville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Thomas, Randy Bowen, Steve Gay, Roland Turner, Eddie Frazier & Randy Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Leo Martin & Warren Johnston.
