She was married to William Watters PALMER on 14 Feb 1833 in Greene Co., Georgia.⁽¹⁾ The marriage index I saw says: Palmer, William married Adkinson, Lorena, February 14, 1833, Greene Co., Georgia. William Watters PALMER⁽²⁾ was born on 24 Sep 1810 in Georgia.⁽³⁾⁽⁴⁾ He died on 20 Jul 1868 in Butler Co., Alabama. He was buried after 20 Jul 1868 in Wesley Chapel, Butler Co., Alabama. Serena ATKINSON and William Watters PALMER had the following children:

26 vi. William Watters PALMER was born on 1 Feb 1843 in Alabama.⁽⁵⁾⁽²⁾ He died on 10 Jun 1862 in Chesterfield Co., Virginia.⁽²⁾ He died of typhoid fever.

+28 viii. Susan Jane Cordelia PALMER.
29 ix. John Thomas PALMER⁽²⁾ was born on 6 Sep 1849 in Alabama.⁽⁵⁾⁽²⁾ He was buried after 1860 in Milner Cemetery, Georgiana, Butler, Alabama.⁽²⁾ John Thomas never married. His fiancee died shortly before they were to be married. He gave the wedding band her had bought for her to his niece, the aunt of Mary Enzor Smith.
