7. Mary Ann ATKINSON was born on 6 Dec 1826 in Georgia. She died on 30 Aug 1902 in LaFayette, Chambers, Alabama. Obit.: Mrs. Mary Ann Leverett, wife of Thomas M. Leverett, was born Dec. 6, 1826, and departed this life Aug. 30, 1902. She leave 5 children: Mr. Gideon Leverett and Mrs. J. Coggins of Chambers Co., Mrs. John Abernathy and Mrs. John Wooten of Alex City, AL and Mrs. D. T. Green of LaFayette. The blessing of her quiet life falls on us like dew.

She was married to Thomas M. LEVERETT (son of Gideon LEVERETT Sr.) about 1847 in Alabama. Thomas M. LEVERETT was born about 1820 in Georgia. He died before 1902. Mary Ann ATKINSON and Thomas M. LEVERETT had the following children:
