The purpose of a family reunion is to get to know and renew relationships with fellow  and other Koberstein family members.  The purpose of these pages are the same, but since we can't be in the same place at the same time we are including media information about Koberstein family members.

I have marked the links here by family using first name of the original immigrant for the U.S.A. Canada, Brazil, and New Zealand.  The family linkage for Germany are not as fully understood (so any help will be appreciated).  I will identify family lines in Germany as possible.  All names where the family is not known will be under 'unknown'.  Here is a list of known family lines that have people in this Family Reunion web pages.  I list the area they immigrated to first and some key places family moved to afterwards.  However many moved around these areas and in modern times many haved moved long distances.

U.S.A.

1.  Joseph son of Johann immigrated from Berlin to Wisconsin and family has stayed in Sauk and Milwaukee counties primarily in the early day.

2.  Ludwig and Martin were brothers immigrating from West Prussia to Marquette county Wisconsin then the Ludwig went to Minnesota near Goodhue county then some on to Oregon near Washington county.

3.  August immigrated from Brandenburg (Berlin) area to first North Dakota then on to Oregon, near Benton county

4.  Johann family immigrated from Bavaria Germany and first lived in Wisconsin primarily Columbia county then some moved on to Oregon, primarily Columbia county (yes the same county name as in Wisconsin).

5.  Ernst immigrated from Landsburg Prussia to primarily Nebraska then some moving to Colorado and other places.

6.  George (father Adam) family (sons Joseph and Karl) immigrating from Bavaria Germany to primarily Indiana.

7.  Carl family immigrated from Landsburg Prussia to New York primarily Erie county.

8.  Koberstein from New York that is not entirely clear who the original immigrant was.

9.  Nicholas family from Bavaria Germany immigrated at first to Maryland but most is Illinois, Chicago area now.

10.  Adolf immigrated from Hamburg to California, Los Angeles area.

11.  Johann (Edward) immigrated from Germany to Ohio, Toledo area.

Canada:

1.  Karl immigrated from Germany to Canada ending up primarily in Alberta.

2.  Ernst Frederick started in Koltchen, Prussia then on to Berlin area with at least one immigrating to Quebec Canada, Paige.

New Zealand:

1.  Frederick Wilhelm family immigrated from Guben Prussia to New Zealand
