JUNCTION CITY --- Thomas E. Koberstein, 44, Junction City, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at a Junction City hospital. Mr. Koberstein was a building manager at Eisenhower Elementary School in Junction City. He was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Junction City, the son of Lyle and Bernette Sellner Koberstein. He graduated from Junction City High School. He married Vicki Swenson on March 8, 1981, in Junction City. She survives. Other survivors include a son, James Koberstein, Junction City; a daughter, Nichole Koberstein, Junction City; his parents, Lyle and Bernette Koberstein, Junction City; two sisters, Janice Carroll, Chapman, and Linda Clement, Junction City; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Skiddy Cemetery in Geary County. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5375 S.W. 7th, Topeka, Kan., 66606. Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel in Junction City is in charge of arrangements.
