• 3 ii. Wilhelmine Caroline Szelinska was born in Borowno, Culm, West Prussia, Germany April 2, 1862. She was christened April 21, 1862 in Kokotzko Evangelische, Kokotzko, West Prussia. (Godparents: Ludwig Szelinski, Wilhelmine? Caroline Arndt) Wilhelmine immigrated to Baltimore, MD 15 October 1885. She is listed in Germans to America as Wilhelmine Dobbek (age 24), traveling with her daughter Bertha (age 6 months).

  Wilhelmine died June 18, 1940 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, at 78 years of age. She was buried in Ridge Hill, Lorain, Ohio. She married Simon Peter Dobbeck October 24, 1885 in Amherst, Lorain Co., OH.⁽²⁾ Married by W. A. Walter, Ev. Pastor.   Peter was born November 27, 1863 in Kokotzko, Culm, West Prussia, Prussia. Peter was the son of Martin Wilhelm Dobek and Petronella Winkler. Peter died October 10, 1939 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at 75 years of age. He was buried in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, Ridge Hill Cemetery.
