took a trip to England for his research] that Daniels father died at
sea before Daniel left for America prob ca 1630-32

have been followed in the early years?

BULLOCK1904> the daughter usually had the middle name as the maiden
name right?

.Bones> sometimes the first son would carry the maiden name of their
mother as a first name..sometimes they were named for their father or
the mother's father

.Janet> You see maiden names as middle names for both sons and
daughters.
.Bones> in my line it seems the first son usually carried the name of
their father or grandfather..but a couple of them also had a form of
the their mother's maiden name
.Donald> Well, non of Daniels children carried either MOORE or SAYERS
as a name
.Donald> nor did the daughters get the name , Ann
.Bones> Mine went.. Daniel, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Paul, Josiah,
Josiah, Josiah, Donald, Donald..then me
.Donald> unles they died at birth and the name was never used again
.Donald> Joseph, Daniel, Samuel, Nathanial and Ezekiel were the names
of the sons in that order

I got a lot of unrelated suggested sites.

made it to Abner

thought I would try finding them

children? I want very much for Amanda, B. 1810 Newbury VT to be one

from Minnesota in the 30's
