Alan Ladd, 52, of Stevens Point, Wis., formerly of Sleepy Eye, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at his home.
Visitation is 4:30-8:30 p.m. today at Boston Funeral Home, Stevens Point.
A visitation at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye is set for 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, followed by a graveside service in Home Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughters, Jessica Grace Huggins and Jocelyn Ray Ladd; a sister, Colleen and her husband Richard Kokkila.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Francile Ladd.
He was born Nov. 24, 1948, in Sleepy Eye to Howard and Elaine Ladd. He served as first lieutenant in the Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Korea. He received a B.A. degree in business, an M.B.A. in industrial relations from the University of Minnesota, and an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan. He was a general manager of district operations for Wisconsin Gas Company.
A memorial is established in his name for the Alan Ladd Scholarship Fund in lieu of flowers.
