     Cloverdale - Andrew Bryan LADD, 85, died at 10:00 am Sept 21 in Paradise
Oaks Nursing Home, Cloverdale.
     He was born Jan 23, 1899.  Parents were John and Phoeba (SHOEMAKER)
Ladd.  He married Mary MATSON in August 1923 and she survives in Cloverdale.
     He was retired from Auglaize Stone co.
     Also surviving are three sons, Richard, Paul and William, Coverdale;
eight daughters, Mrs. James (Alice) EVANS, Mrs. Roy (Edna) HALTER, Mrs.
Carrol (Marilyn) PIER and Mrs. Jerry (Seu) WAGNER, all of Oakwood, Mrs.
Gale (Margaret) Streayer of Delphos, Mrs. Wesley (Connie) Brown of
Defiance, Mrs. Robert (Helen) SCOTT of Continental and Mrs. pat (Elizabeth)
BASSINGER of Cloverdale;  54 grandchildren; 35 g-grandchildren; four
stepgrandchildren; a brother, Harry, Cloverdale; and two sisters, Mrs.
Viola STEVENS OF Anderson, Ind., and Mrs. Juanita SHARP, Cloverdale.
     He was preceded in death by a daughter.
     Services were Sept. 24 in Snyder Funeral Home, Continental, with Rev.
Steve Zinser officiating.  Burial was in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale.
