Catherine Elizabeth Ladd

Catherine Elizabeth Ladd of Boulder died of a diabetic event Monday, April 5, 2004, in Augusta, Maine. She was 53.
The daughter of George E. Ladd III and Elizabeth Ford Ladd, she was born Nov. 15, 1950, in Baltimore.
She graduated from Pine Manor Junior College and the University of Colorado.
Ms. Ladd worked as a counselor for several years.
She lived in Boulder from 1970 to 2003.
She enjoyed her home and garden, music and movies, reading books, and singing and dancing.
"She cherished her family, her friends and her pets," the family said. She will lovingly be remembered as someone who always brought light and laughter to a room."
Survivors include her father of LaQuinta, Calif.; her mother, Elizabeth Dieu of New York; two brothers, Michael Ladd of Wayne, Maine, and David Ladd of Stuarts Draft, Va.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Dorothy Hoffman.
Memorial services will be in Colorado and Maine this summer.
Roberts Funeral Home of Winthrop, Maine, handled arrangements.
