C. Dale Ladd
   PAMPA - C. Dale Ladd, 74, died Monday, March 24, 1997.
   
   Vigil services were at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral
   Directors Colonial Chapel with Dan Rose, deacon, officiating. Funeral
   Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. today in St. Vincent de Paul
   Catholic Church by the Rev. Joe Bixenman, pastor. Burial will be in
   Memory Gardens Cemetery.
   
   Mr. Ladd was born in Gray, Okla. He moved to Pampa in 1947 from
   Cleburne. He married Jean Wieneskie in 1947 at Cleburne.
   
   He graduated from West Texas Barber College in Amarillo. He had been a
   barber in Pampa for the past 41 years.
   
   He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Pampa
   Masonic Lodge No. 966 and the El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory. He was
   a transportation technician for the Army Air Corps, 1551st Base Unit
   Southwest Pacific Wing during World War II. He was a life member of
   the Pampa chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
   
   Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Regina Jones of Pampa and
   Linda Ladd of Dallas; two brothers, Glenn Ladd of Amarillo and A.K.
   Ladd of Shamrock; two sisters, Mable Roper of Schulenburg and Fern
   Bonner of Shamrock; and two grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic
   Church or a favorite charity.
