     Clara L. LADD, 84, of 113 East St., Litchfield, died Sunday evening
(Sept. 16, 1984) in the Oddfellow's and Rebekah's Home in Jackson following
an extended illness.
     Mrs. LADD was born July 4, 1900, in Putnam County, Ohio, to parents
James and Florence MORAN.
     She married Charles LADD, who preceded her in deatrh in 1962.
     Mrs. LADD was a member of the Litchfield Rebekah Lodge #134
     Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Inella) SMITH, of Parma,
three sons, Floyd, of Jonesville, and Melvin and Burton, both of Litchfield.
     Also surviving are two sisters:  Mrs. Margaret Sullivan, Continental,
Ohio, and Mrs. Susan WURM of Litchfield, 23 grandchildren, and 24
great-grandchildren.
     Two brothers, two sisters, and one great-grandson preceded her in death.
     The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 pm in the Litchfield
Congregational Church, Rev. Timothy Wepner officiating.
     Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield.
     The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 7 to 9 pm in the George
White Funeral Home in Litchfield, and a Rebekah service will be held at
7:30 pm the same evening.

NOTE:  Clara passed away on Sept. 16, 1984
