Dorothy Ladd
MILTON Dorothy Earp Sargent Ladd, 90, of Governors Road, Milton, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Sunbridge Care of Rochester.
Born Aug. 28, 1910 in Peabody, Mass., she was the daughter of Howard W. and Mabel C. (Earp) Sargent. She had resided in this area for 30 years, having previously resided in Lynn, Mass., for many years.
She was a piano teacher in Lynn, Mass., for 40 years and was a member of the Piano Teachers Association.
Dorothy was also an artist of oil, watercolor and pastels. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Wolfeboro.
The widow of the late Charles D. Ladd, she is survived by her sister, Audrey L. Bushby of Milton; her niece, Dotian Levalier of Fairfax, Va.; two grandnieces, Lisa D. Colangelo of Mountain View, Calif., and Janice E. Bellomo of Towson, Md.; two great-grandnephews, Charles D. Bellomo and Calvin Bellomo, and great-grandnieces, Margaret Ann Colangelo.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, So. Main Street, Wolfeboro, with the Rev. Randolph Dales, pastor officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, Mass.

Arrangements are in the care of C.E. Peaslee and Son Funeral Home, 32 Central St., Farmington.
