Earl Ladd
MULESHOE (Special) - Services for Earl M. Ladd, 89, of Muleshoe will be at
11 a.m. Monday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Reeves
officiating.
Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ladd died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, in Muleshoe Area Healthcare Center.
He was born April 24, 1908, in Yale County, Ark. He married Clemmie Cooper
on July 6, 1930, in Turkey. She died Dec. 18, 1992. He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge, where he had served as a past master.
He owned Earl Ladd and Son, Inc., and he was an implement dealer in Muleshoe
since 1944. He was the fire chief of the Muleshoe Fire

Department for 18 years, retiring in 1972.
Survivors include a son, John L. of LaPorte; five grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
