LADD, Edna Lois (ANDERSON)

     Homer- former Litchfield-Homer area resident Edna Lois LADD, 67, of
1243 S. County Line Road, died Sunday (Feb. 5, 1995) in Delweb Hospital,
Wittman, Ariz.
     Born in Needles, Calif., on May 29, 1927, to Victor and Alice
ANDERSON, she was a graduate of Homer High School.
     Mrs. LADD was retired from farming and factory work, was a former
owner of LADD's Bait Shop, and was a cake decorator.
     Her husband, Leroy, whom she married Oct. 31, 1943, preceded her in
death in 1985.
     Surviving are three daughters, Linda LADD, Albion, Brenda SWANSON,
Hampton, Tenn., and Sherri SLONE, Wittman; two sons, William of Coldwater,
and Victor of Limestone, Tenn.; two sisters, Virginia MARKWORT, Island
Lake, Ill., and Gerry ARIS, Alamagordo, N.M.; 15 grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
     The funeral is at 3 pm Thursday in the George White Funeral Home,
Litchfield, with the Rev. Clyde Wonders officiating.  Burial will be in Mt.
Hope Cemetery, Litchfield.  Friends may call anytime after noon Wednesday,
with visitation from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
