Gordon Ladd

ROCHESTER - Gordon C. Ladd, 65, of 209 Milton Road, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health.

Gordon was born in Kittery, Maine on May 29, 1932, the son of Cecil and Blanche (Beaudet) Ladd and had lived in Rochester for the past nine years, moving from Haverhill, Mass.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Gordon was predeceased by his sister, Jacqueline Clark, who died in 1990.

Surviving members of the family include his wife, Carolyn (Rollinson) Ladd of Rochester; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Taatjes of Milton and Denise Wilkens of Sanbornville; two stepsons, Daniel Fennell of Dover and Ronald Fennell of Rochester; a sister, Carol J. Burns of Meriden, Conn.; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at H.J. Grondin and Son Funeral Home, 177 N. Main St., Rochester.

A funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at Rochester Cemetery.
