     Jan.10, 1903 - Jan. 7, 1998 - Hazel E. LADD, 94, of 3191 W. Bacon,
Hillsdale, died Wednesday in the Hillsdale Community Health Center.
     Mrs. LADD was born Jan. 10, 1903 in Reading Township, to Everett and
Augusta (Daglow) MOHR.  She attended Hillsdale High School and the Bankers
Baptist Church.
     She married Arthur LADD, Dec. 7, 1925 and he preceded her in death in
1995.
     Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Velma) COOK, Hillsdale, and
Margaret DUNTON, Reading; five sons, Paul, Gerald, and Ted, all of
Hillsdale, Donald of Jerome, and Duane of Portage; 24 grandchildren, 34
great-grandchildren, one Great-great-grandchild; one sister, Reva SCOVILL,
Hillsdale; and one brother, William MOHR, South Haven.
     The funeral is 1 pm Saturday at the St. John-White Funeral Home,
Reading, with the Rev. Harvey Thomas officiating.  Friends may call after
noon today, with visitation from 7-9 pm in the funeral home.  Bruial will
be in Bankers Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
