LADD, Henry Francis (Hank)

     Henry Francis (Hank) LADD, 87, Oakwood, died at 3:40 pm Sunday in
Hometown Nursing Home, Ottawa.
     He was born Oct 3, 1898, at Cascade, the son of Andrew J. and Susanna
(MYERS) LADD.  In 1920 he married Ila COBLE.  He married Fay SHERMAN
Brinkman in 1947, and she died in 1968.  He was employed 19 years at
Grizzly Manufacturing co., Paulding, before retiring in 1965.  He had
formerly worked at the Paulding Sugar Beet Factory and for the Nickel Plate
Railroad.
     Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen English, Melrose; a son Paul,
Grover Hill; a stepdaughter Mrs. Jeanne Johnson, Magnolia, Ark.; five
grandchildren, a step-granddaughter and several great-grandchildren; and a
sister, Mrs. Flossie Craig, Ferdale, Mich.
     Also preceding him in death were a brother, Dwight, and an infant
sister, Florence.
     Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday in Taylor Funeral Home.  Rev.
Duane Johnson will officiate.  Burial will be in Cascade cemetery, near
Cloverdale.  Visitation at the funeral home will be after 2:00 pm Tuesday.
