LADD, Hester (Mrs.)
Hillsdale, Michigan, Thursday, April 4,1935
     Litchfield.  April 4, Mrs. Hester LADD, 81 a resident of this vicinity
for 18 years, died there this morning.  She was born in Ottowa, Ohio on
September 18, 1853.
     Surviving Mrs. LADD are her husband, Benson: three sons, Charles of
Owoaso, Clyde of Jonesville, and Leck of Litchfield; three daughters, Mrs.
Ella Nette MEYER of Minot, B. D., Mrs. D. SHINABERRY of Painesville, Ohio,
and Mrs. Mattie HAWK of Litchfield, 32 grandchildren, and 41 great
grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the
home with the Rev. J. C. Rice officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Hope
Cemetery, Litchfield, Michigan.
