LADD, HOWARD

     Jonesville - Funeral services were held in Flint this afternoon for
Howard LADD, 48, a former Jonesville resident.
     Mr. LADD was born in Putnam County, Ohio on Jan. 29, 1908, the son of
Clyde and Flora RICHARD LADD.  Mr. LADD's father survives.
     Other survivors include his wife, Frieda; two daughters, Mrs. Reba
ROSS and Mrs. Helen ARRAND of flint; a son, Jack, also of Flint; four
brothers, Charles of Litchfield, Alton of Jonesville, Arthur of Hillsdale
and Wilbur of Camden; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys MICHAEL of Flint, Mrs.
Ethel PAITH of Tempferance, Mrs. Esther GRATZ of Pittsford and Mrs. Doris
BURK of Quincy.
     Mr. Ladd also leaves six grandchildren.
     A second son, Howard Jr., preceded him in death.
